Reliance Jio has launched an upgraded version of the JIoPhone (i.e JIOPHONE 2) & it’s Fiber network called JioGigaFiber.
Reliance said that company sold over 25 million units of JIOPHONE in less than one year.
Now they come up with never version of the phone , JioPhone 2 which is priced at Rs. 2999.
The phone officially available from 15th August.


Company also announced a Monsoon Hungama offer where you can exchange your old feature phone and get the new JIOPHONE in just Rs. 501.
The JioPhone 2 features a Qwerty keypad, 4G LTE, VoLTE, VoWi-Fi(Wi-Fi Calling) support and runs the KaiOS, same as the JioPhone.
The JioPhone 2 is a dual-SIM handset with the first SIM card having support for 4G on LTE Band 3, 5, 40 and the secondary SIM card having support for 2G on 900/1800 Bands.
Phone would have 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
A microSD card slot is also present on the device with storage expansion up to 128GB.
JioPhone 2 include a 2MP Front Camera & VGA in Back.
Reliance also announce that Whatsapp ,Facebook & Youtube Support will be there on phone.
The JioPhone 2 comes with a single mono loudspeaker and comes with FM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC support.
Reliance Jio also officially announced its FTTH (fibre-to-the-home) broadband service – Jio GigaFiber. Which is also available from August 15th along with JIOPHONE 2.

JIO GigaFiber planning to bring a gigabit connection at a more affordable cost.Jio also said it aims to bring India among the top 5 global fixed line broadband players.
In addition to Jio Giga Fiber, Reliance Jio also introduced set-top box and media streaming device, Jio GigaTV.
Jio GigaTV can stream live cable channels, JioCinema for movies, and more.
It will also comes with a video calling feature which will let you calling just about any device on a Jio network such as a smartphone, tablet or another GigaTV subscriber.
Jo GigaTV will also support voice command remote control.
Jio will bundle a GigaFiber router with every GigaTV purchase. Although one can still get a GigaFiber router as a standalone service.
